Hey thanks everyone! We are all pretty excited. (and nervous) We both knew we wanted to have a family and so far it's been fantastic! Life feels much deeper when you have little ones around. It really has a way of expanding you. (in every way imaginable)

Any guesses, boy? girl?

I'm on the fence, but I'd like a little girl... I think.

Ah.... Girls are the best, Alex (says one extremely prejudiced father of one adorable three-year old daughter). Congratulations from this lurker who enjoys reading this blog too.

Life feels much deeper when you have little ones around.

Could not agree more with that. All the best for you and your family.

Somebody hasn't been behaving!

Congrats, dude. We have a little girl due in June. At first I was relieved, because girls cost less in potential medical bills. But then I remembered that they make up for that when they hit about 12 yrs old and discover fashion.

Turtle,
Thanks for the well wishes! And thanks for popping out from the shadows to offer your thoughts! (Feel free to do it any time.) Honestly Megan and I are both hoping for a girl. We have a cute name picked out and everything. Even so, we'll take what we can get. I'd guess we are going to opt out of finding out the sex prior to delivery. That's how we did it with Adrian. There's just something about not knowing that makes the whole experience that much more poignant to me.

Thanks again for dropping a note!

Congratulations Alex, every little girl should have a big brother so I hope you wish re gender comes true.
Girls are cheaper? But there is something special about girls and their fathers.
